Welcome to The Hutchinson Legacy Books Here’s My Literary Story:

In 1970 the unthinkable became reality with the publication of my first book, The Myth of Black Capitalism. The rest as they say is history. In the next half century plus from 1970 to 2022. I published twenty-nine more books. The books were published by mainstream publishers, university presses, small independent publishers, and self-published. The prime focus of the books are race and politics in America. However, along the way I published books on my other compelling interests, classical music, yoga, and wellness. The older books are long since out of print but are still available from third party dealers and collectors on Amazon.

In response to many who have asked about my books and their availability, I decided to display my thirty books that span the decades. In addition I have published ninety ebooks. In further addition many of the original manuscripts of the books are housed with my private papers at the Southern California Library for Social Studies and Research in Los Angeles.

A final note. After my tenth book I said that that would absolutely be my last book. Well, twenty books later, that has not proven to be true. This is to say I have learned never to say “This is my last” after I publish a book. This may not be the case again. But for now, here is the Hutchinson Legacy Books.
